Car Bomb Kills 26 in Shiite Neighborhood of Baghdad

Iraqi officials say a car bomb has killed at least 26 people in a predominantly Shi'ite neighborhood of the Iraqi capital.
Hospital officials say at least 50 people were wounded in the blast, which happened early Friday in the eastern Baghdad neighborhood of Zafaraniyah.
More than 200 people have been killed in attacks in the past month, as a political crisis continues in the Shi'ite-led unity government.
The main Sunni-backed faction, Iraqiya, accuses Shi'ite Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki of monopolizing power in Shi'ite hands. Iraqiya has boycotted the Cabinet.
