As a teaser picture of Lindsay Lohan’s new Playboy shoot hits the interweb – she’s gone for the Marilyn Monroe look – the former actress has revealed her reasons for posing in the buff. Sort of.
“Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature,” said the 25-year-old star. “I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her.
“Knowing yourself and your body is so important because it gives you confidence, and in life, women need confidence.
“It’s a very male-dominated world to begin with, so knowing yourself and being comfortable with your body is an important thing for me as a woman. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this is mine.”
We guess everyone has their own way of fighting the patriarchy… Speaking of which, 85-year-oldPlayboy founder Hugh Hefner has been tweeting about the magazine’s upcoming issue, writing: “The Lindsay Lohan issue will make the perfect Christmas issue for men in your life – father, son, husband, boyfriend, whoever.”
He added: “Because of the interest and the internet leak, we’re releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early. Lindsay Lohan was the top search name on the internet yesterday. Hot hot hot.”
