Betty Yates murder: Man arrested

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Worcestershire pensioner Betty Yates.
The 77-year-old retired teacher was found stabbed to death at her cottage near Bewdley on 4 January.
Police said they arrested a man, who does not live locally, at his home on Thursday and questioned him in relation to the inquiry.
He has since been released on bail. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who believes they have any information.
Earlier this week police said they had taken seven calls following an appeal by Mrs Yates' son David and daughter Hazel.
One reported a man in a silver Audi seen at a garage in Kidderminster Road, Bewdley.
Crimestoppers has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the killer.
Mrs Yates' body was found at the foot of her stairs. She had been stabbed and beaten with her walking stick.
